News in 2023

2023 has been a wonderful year full of firsts and significant accomplishments. I had a total of nine exhibitions, two of which were solos and seven of which I was juried into. Three paintings received Honorable Mentions and one painting received a Winner award in their competitions. I have also reached new collectors and am honoured by their enthusiasm for my art.

Purchasers of my art requested that their 50% of the purchase price be donated to the following environmental organizations: Georgia Strait Alliance, Pacific Salmon Foundation and The Nature Trust of BC. I was also so pleased to donate paintings to fundraisers for Dress for Success, Canadian Cancer Society, Pacific Salmon Foundation and the Peace Arch Hospital.

My goal for 2024 is to more than double the donations to the environmental organizations listed on my website.

Song of Songs, Homage to the Beauty Around Us

The paintings in Song of Songs emerge gently with warm colours and develop exuberantly into boisterous celebration. The paintings celebrate the emergence from the long winter of COVID and my emotional welcoming of spring, a renewal of living. Enjoy this video of the exhibition.
