South Rock Art Tour

On September 21st and 22nd I opened my house and studio for the South Rock Art Tour. It was such fun to connect with friends, neighbours and new collectors, and of course to talk about art!

The downside was I didn’t take pictures at the tour because I was so busy talking!

Mid Main Art show

The Mid Main Art show in Vancouver in June was so much fun. Visitors poured in when the doors opened and it was a busy and successful event. I met many interesting people including a wonderful new collector who purchased two of my favourite paintings.

The event was held at the Heritage Hall in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. This beautiful building hosts many art events.

Federation Gallery Exhibition

Abstract impressionist painting with a mix of green, blue, white, and brown brushstrokes, creating a textured landscape scene.

I’m so honoured that this 10x10” painting called “Forest Pool’ was juried into the Federation Gallery’s 2023 Small Exhibition show from September 24 to October 6.

There will be a wide choice of all small artworks and sculptures to choose from, so try to drop by the gallery located on Granville Island if you can.

The Galley George

I was so pleased to show five paintings at the The Gallery George Spring Equinox group exhibition, March 6-31.

Elements of a Living Sea’ shown here is one of them.

Federation Gallery

I was very grateful to have these two paintings juried into the Federation Gallery’s 2024 Online Federation Showcase in March. I was a huge reader of Greek and Egyptian mythology as a child, and especially Homer’s ‘The Iliad and The Odyssey’. It was the colours I chose when I started painting one day that led to these paintings. This is one of the things that I love about making art. You never know where the inspiration will come from.

The Lure of Ancient Worlds

Abstract painting with various earth tone colors, including browns, beiges, whites, and hints of blue, with layered brushstrokes and scribbles.
