The truth is: the natural world is changing. And we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our food, water and air. It is the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it.
Sir David Attenborough
Art has the power to change hearts,
and changed hearts have the power to change the world.
Our earth is threatened by climate change and other impacts of human activity. As a mother and a grandmother, I want a safe world for my children and their families. I also feel a fervent responsibility to all other creatures that share the earth with us.
I love to create paintings that bring people joy. Even more important to me is that every painting encourages the viewer to pause, appreciate the wonders and vulnerability of the natural world, and be inspired to protect it.
In my life and in my art, I minimize the environmental impact of my activities as much as I can. As part of my mission, I donate 50% of sales to the Canadian nature-focused organizations listed below. And if you find a painting that resonates with you, I invite you to select which of these organizations will receive the donation from your purchase. I hope you’ll enjoy your new art even more knowing that your purchase helps protect our natural world.

I Find My Inspiration Everywhere.
In small details and big skys. In colour. In lines, texture and pattern. In stillness and in swooping rhythms.
The images take root in my mind and follow me until they present themselves on my canvas.
